Born from the collaborative vision of good friends and inspired by the nomadic lifestyle of Temple’s founder, Brian Byrne, the Kungfu Hobo brand is a tribute to the journey, the passion for staying active wherever you are.
When we travel, we seek community in healthy living and want an eclectic piece to reflect that.

Brian Byrne, the original Kungfu Hobo
So, where did it all begin? It started with a playful jab from Brian's bandmate, Christian, during their days in the Candian rock group, I Mother Earth.
"Kungfu Hobo" became a playful moniker, teasing Brian's perpetual journey on the road, chasing work and music. With just a handful of staples—plaid shirts, camo shorts, his infamous vans, and a trusty Gi—Brian embodies the essence of the modern-day nomad. Wherever he lands, his first order of business is finding a place to train. There was a time when they travelled with mats in the back of their truck, ensuring they could roll no matter where they found themselves.
This passion and dedication to staying active wherever you find yourself is the ethos of Kungfu Hobo. Launching in 2024 with its signature T’s, Kungfu Hobo will become more than just apparel—a lifestyle waiting to unfold.
